Hello Class of 2019!

Happy New Year to you and your families. It's going to be another great year in Kereru Class with lots of interesting and fun topics to keep us busy.

I hope you are all enjoying the last few days of the holiday break and having lots of fun! 
I spent some time in Wellington over the holidays and it was fabulous!

I look forward to hearing all about your holidays when you come back to school on Wednesday.

SCHOOL HOLIDAYS BEGIN!! 🌞

Our Elf: Jingle-Jeff!

We had a very exciting parcel delivery on Wednesday. Jingle-Jeff our elf arrived from the North Pole! When we opened the box we found a note from Santa telling us how to look after our elf, a letter from Santa for each student and a book 'The Elf on the Shelf' but no elf.

When we read the note from Santa we realised that Jingle-Jeff had been in class the whole time! 

He had been watching to see who was being naughty and nice 👀

Athletics Day!

Tuesday is school athletics day!

Come to school in your PE gear. 

You may wear track pants as it can still be a bit cool in the morning. 

Here is a reminder of what else you will need:

-School Polar fleece or Jersey
-School Hat
-Sneakers 
-Sunscreen
-Drink bottle (water)
-Lunch and snacks
-Wet weather gear (raincoat)
