The Christmas Truce
Today we discussed the origins of WW1 and why so many countries became involved over the next four years. One event that the students found really interesting was 'The Christmas Truce.'
We watched a couple of short videos to find out a little bit more about it.
The first clip is a Christmas message, based on The Christmas Truce, made in partnership with The Royal British Legion. It is inspired by real events from 100 years ago. Followed by a clip about the true story behind the event.

Last Day of Swimming
Today was our last swimming lesson so we got to have a play on the playground before our lesson and some free time in the wave pool after our lesson.
Star of the Week!
Kereru Star of the Week-Bojana!
Bojana has been really focused on whatever work or task she has been given this week. What a great start to the year. Ms Hampson has been very impressed.
